Does Amazon take Afterpay or Sezzle?
A gift card option.
Amazon allows using gift cards to pay for purchases. And it's one more option helping you use Afterpay on Amazon. Simply put, you can buy Amazon gift cards with Afterpay and use them as a payment method during checkout on Amazon.
You may need to remove alternative payment methods so that your Sezzle Virtual Card is the only payment method in your Amazon account. It is best to check back on your Amazon order every 24 hours, going through the Sezzle app until you see your Amazon order appear.
Shoppers are only able to use the virtual card with eligible stores. If they try and use the card at a merchant that doesn't accept Sezzle Virtual Card, the purchase will be declined.
Buy now, pay later plans
Amazon Monthly Payment is a buy now, pay later (BNPL) option. However, if it isn't offered on your product or does not meet your payment needs, you could choose a third-party BNPL provider.
Amazon Pay accepts credit and debit cards. Credit cards currently accepted include Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Diners Club, and JCB. The Amazon.com store card is available for use with selected merchants. In some circumstances, you might be limited to using Visa and Mastercard credit cards.
It's a neat workaround and means that while Amazon doesn't officially accept Afterpay, it has an integration with the Afterpay app. This way, you can still use your account for Amazon purchases.
Check out as with any other card in Apple Pay or Google Pay. Just select your Sezzle Card in your mobile wallet and tap your phone on the payment terminal to pay for your entire purchase with Sezzle. Sezzle will send you an email confirmation with your order details and payment schedule.
All Sezzle Premium brands have a maximum open order limit of two purchases - to make a third Sezzle Premium purchase; you'll need to pay off one first.
Please contact Sezzle if your card was declined. Some possible reasons for declines can be because you are extending beyond your Sezzle credit limit, inaccurate information in your Sezzle account creation, or expired payment method on your Sezzle account.
Can I use Sezzle to pay bills? Sezzle only works with participating online retailers, Apple Pay, and Google Pay for in-store and online purchases.
Can I use Sezzle at the grocery store?
You can use your Sezzle Virtual Card to place orders either online or in-store using a virtual wallet like Apple Pay or Google Pay at select retailers.
You receive a unique 16-digit card number, plus your expiration date and CVV. You can use your Sezzle Virtual Card at select Sezzle merchants just like you would use your normal credit or debit card — over the phone, online, and even in person as long as you have the card details.

Did your billing address change recently or did you get a new card with a new expiration date? If you used a payment method already on Your Account, you may simply need to update some of the information. If you entered a new payment method, make sure you entered the number and other information correctly.
Have you exceeded your credit limit? Did you enter your credit card number, credit card expiration date, billing address, and phone number correctly in Your Account? Is your purchase outside of your normal spending range? Some banks will block transactions due to security concerns.
Steps that you can take to resolve payment issues
